Chopped Italian Sliders
these chopped italian sliders are great for appetizers, tailgates, lunches, and barbecues.
Ingredients
- Hawaiian Buns
- Ham, chopped
- Salami, chopped
- Pepper Jack Cheese, sliced (Sub Provolone per preferred spice level)
- Lettuce
- Onion, diced
- Pickle, diced (For those with heart)
- Mayo
- Italian seasoning
Method
- 1
Preheat oven to 375. Slice your Hawaiian buns in half and spread the bottom buns with a thin layer of mayo and bake for 8 minutes.
- 2
Lay all your ham and salami out on a cutting board and dice into dime size pieces. Add the meat combo to a pan over medium heat. Cook until crispy on the corners.
- 3
Mix together your onion, lettuce, mayo, and Italian dressing in a medium bowl. I set half aside and added pickles to the second half due to my family’s pickle haters.
- 4
Remove buns from oven and overlap your cheese slices and layer on meat mixture.
- 5
Add back your top layer of buns and evenly top with butter and Italian seasoning and bake again for 6 minutes.
- 6
Take off the top layer of bread and add your salad.
- 7
Add back the top buns, serve, and enjoy!
